Dear Jim & Marti Brown, Most of our boxes are unpacked and we finally got a chance to sit and enjoy our new home. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of my wife, Arleen, and myself to thank you and your wife for a job well done in the construction of our new home at Windmill Ranch. It is what we have always wanted – a house designed by and built by a reputable and honest builder, it was an excellent building experience. Whenever we would tell people we were building a new house, most would frown and say “good-luck”. It appears that most people have had bad building experiences and horror stories to tell; stories of broken promises, inferior workmanship and cost increases which appeared out of “nowhere”. We experienced none of this. Our home was completed as promised – on time and to our satisfaction. Commitments which were made – were kept. When problems in the normal course of construction arose – they were promptly and cheerfully corrected. When major challenges did arise, creative ways were found to solve them; your depth of building knowledge is exceptional. You provided us with sound recommendations when needed, you were immediately available to answer any inquiries and you kept us informed as construction progressed - there were no surprises or snafus. I would also like to commend you and your subcontractors on the outstanding quality of workmanship in the design and construction of our entry-way. Finally, I want to thank you for your pledge to using high-quality materials and high-quality craftsman. This commitment is evident in every room in the house. You have left behind a product that you and we can be proud of. I want to encourage you to continue that commitment to customer satisfaction and wish you continued success in building dream homes. Every time we have guests, they comment on the open design of the home and extraordinary craftsmanship in the construction. Probably the main reason we choose Heart of Texas Custom Homes was because of the connection we felt with Jim and Marti Brown. We knew that several builders in the area could build a quality home but Jim Brown's company was the one with which we felt most comfortable.
